SetLance is a biotech company focused on the development of peptide-based drugs.
It was founded in 2009 by Luisa Bracci, Chiara Falciani and Alessandro Pini, researchers at the University of Siena, Italy.
SetLance has its registered offices at Toscana Life Sciences (TLS) campus in Siena.
The company aims at the development of novel peptide-based drug candidates for the treatment of severe human diseases – with a special focus on bacterial infections and cancer.
The company is also involved in the development of peptide-based medical devices.

SetLance collaborates with Medica spa, a company based in Medolla (MO), Italy, for the development of peptide-based medical devices to be used in Intensive Care Units for blood filtering.
SetLance collaborates with Anya Biopharm, a company based in Taipei, Taiwan, for the identification and characterization of anti cytokines peptides to be used as drugs in inflammatory diseases.
SetLance collaborates with ITS Vita, a teaching and educational company based in Siena, Italy, training technicians for life technologies
